EP Tech / EP Lab Tech Location: Grand Rapids, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,773 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Electrophysiology Cardiovascular Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years of relevant experience License: CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT or CRT-Reg Card Elect Specialist (RCES) or CRT-Reg Card Inter Specialist (RCIS) Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. - Two years of clinical experience in electrophysiology or invasive cardiology procedures required. - Education minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related fields. Description: Assess hemodynamics and perform cardiac calculations. Operate equipment and document procedures. Provide site management and patient/family education. Prepare patients and maintain sterile technique. Process and save images, conduct electrical mapping, and manage access site preparation. Perform intraprocedural handling of instruments and maintain the sterile field. Evaluate changing conditions during procedures. Responsible for device pocket closure. Participate in ongoing process improvement activities and department-level education. Adhere to unit-based standard work. Prepare case tables with necessary equipment, sterile supplies, instruments, and medications. Perform surgical sponge, needle, and instrument counts. Communicate and collaborate with patients and other healthcare team members. Monitor patients undergoing invasive and interventional procedures. Capture and record hemodynamic and physiologic waveforms and perform calculations. Utilize technologies such as IVUS, FFR, OCT, ICE, Shockwave, IABP, Impella, and atherectomy. Provide support for various cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Actively participate in safety initiatives and complete safety-related competencies. Perform other duties as assigned.
