Job Description:
Currently looking to fill a locum need in Michigan for a Tramua
Surgeon, details as follows: o Specialty: Trauma Surgery -
Physician Must be Board Certified or Eligible in Surgical Critical
Care to be considered. We will decline any submissions who do not
have this fellowship. o Location: Midland, MI, USA o Clinic, Call,
or Both: Weekend Call Only Covering Trauma and General Surgery call
coverage, and Trauma/Acute Care Surgery Service patients. Rounding
on all admitted patients for Trauma Services and Acute Care Surgery
Services; roughly 9am - 12pm on Saturday and Sunday. Census can
vary 15 - 20 patients. Required to respond to all Code 1 Trauma
activiations within 15 minutes, as we are a Level II trauma center.
o Schedule: 6/13: Orientation - - - One weekend per month beyond
that - we are working to identify these exact dates o
Cases/Procedures: All Trauma/Acute Care General Surgeries Please
let me know if you need an exact list o Clinical support: Six APPs
(one to join in June 2024, one to join in August 2024) o EMR and
Dictation Tools: EPIC/Dragon o Required experience, training, and
certifications: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Surgical Critical Care to be considered for this opportunity. ACLS
o Case Logs: 50 patients (surgical or consultative) in the last 12
months o Consider IMLC or waiting for a license: Will consider IMLC
o Credentialing Timeframe: Typically 30 days, but applications are
