Pulse Clinical Alliance is hiring a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse in Grand Rapids, MI.Job Details:Full-time PositionSalary: $28.90 - $41.00 a hour based on experienceShift: Variable - 32-40hrs/weeks - Some shifts pay more than others, see below:7am-3pm: Saturday & Sunday at $1.25 extra per hour3pm-11pm: Monday Thursday at $2.00 extra per hour3pm-11pm: Friday Sunday at $3.00 extra per hour11pm-7am: Monday Thursday at $4.00 extra per hour11pm-7am: Friday Sunday at $5.00 extra per hourEvening and Night shift heavily preferredExperience: 1+ years of Psych or ED experience preferred, new grads will be consideredRequirements:MI RN License or compactBachelor's degree in nursing preferredA valid driver's license preferredDescription:A Registered Nurs e is responsible and accountable to perform the nursing process as a basis for patient care. RNs provide direction and oversight to other licensed and non-licensed staff. We show compassion to recipients of services, coworkers, and surrounding communities through integrity, stewardship, empowerment, the promotion of diversity, and professional excellence. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate excellent customer service and have enthusiasm for the program and our organization.Assesses persons served care needs, develops a plan of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and continually reassesses plan of care according to persons served care needs.In collaboration with the physician, provides/coordinates nursing care to individuals and groups of persons served.Assists in the teaching of persons served families, and provides milieu management. Communicates with and educates persons served families/significant others in discharge/after care planning needs.Provides a safe and secure environment for persons served and staff in both individual and group settings.Responsible for documenting, reporting, and verifying all necessary information according to established policies and procedures.Responsible to monitor for and report to the physician(s) any potential risk to persons served safety that could lead to an adverse outcome.Creates a customer/client friendly environment by following quality improvement standards, maintaining professionalism, initiating and maintaining positive relationships with departments/programs, co-workers and external customers.Provides care in various clinical settings with diverse persons served populations. Identifies specific persons served needs and implements persons served centered, compassionate care.Functions as a clinical leader, delegating/coordinating staff assignments and promoting staff development.Responsible for the utilization and continued review of patient care protocols, standards of practice, and standards of care. Gives input into process for improvement.Utilizes and promotes careful use of resources.May be responsible in training direct care staff.May be indirectly responsible for oversight of medication and physical health activities in a program.May be responsible for scheduling, staffing, and obtaining pre-authorizations.Responsible to role model the mission and values of the organization, presenting a professional image that is projected in appearance, attitudes and behaviors, time management and communication skills. Provides spiritual, emotional, social, mental and physical support to patients.In the community residential setting required to support and promote a recovery focused environment and person-centered approach within the program.Commitment to demonstrating the Hospital and Residential Services Model of Care in hospital and residential areas.Responsible to uphold the healing ministry of Christ through relationships that honor integrity, stewardship, empowerment, the promotion of diversity, equity, inclusion, and professional excellence.Must maintain annual training and demonstrate competency in the required programmatic training.Performs other duties or functions as assigned.Pulse Clinical Alliance is seeking an experienced candidate for this travel or contract opportunity.
